AgriOpportunity, a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, helps farmers and agribusinesses in developing countries make the jump to participate in new market opportunities available in the local, regional and global economy. New opportunities for farmers and agribusinesses improve the livelihoods of rural communities and strengthen the local and global economies.

AgriOpportunity takes advantage of market insights and connections generated by AFJ staff in work with governments, private sector companies, and international institutions around the world. Through its work in promoting trade and economic activity, AFJ has identified critical path interventions that can allow farmers, agribusinesses and ancillary service providers to improve productivity and enter global markets. Working in developing countries, AgriOpportunity can help provide access to new technology; capacity building to raise skills, productivity, and quality standards; improve production and processing practices to meet health and safety standards; identify market entrance, promotion, and sales strategies; and raise capital investment for infrastructure, plant and equipment, and capacity building activities.
