Analysis of U.S Agricultural Trade under Trade Agreements
Washington, D.C. February 28, 2011. This AFJ report assesses U.S. export and import performance over the past 20 years and highlights the role of trade agreements in contributing to expanding trade. The trade effects under the Uruguay Round, NAFTA, CAFTA, and China’s WTO Accession are compared to trade with the European Union and Japan -- markets where trade agreements have not been reached outside of the WTO.
