Hafemeister Addresses International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium on DDA

Washington, D.C. -- AFJ Vice President Jason Hafemeister addressed the International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) on the WTO agriculture Negotiations.  He outlined the process designed to move the negotiations forward, explained the substantive issues on the table, and described several potential scenarios for concluding the negotiations.  Hafemeister was the lead agriculture negotiator for the United States in the WTO agriculture negotiations through February 2007 and continues to follow the negotiations to counsel clients on their implications.
