Flora Film gains U.S. patent approval

Washington, D.C. -- Allen F. Johnson, President of AgriNova, announced the approval of a patent application for Flora Film, plastic mulch that protects plants from insect damage.  Flora Film combines the functions of protective mulch with chemical applications and has the potential to expand farm yields and reduce costs in a convenient and environmentally-friendly manner.  AgriNova is working with AFJ to obtain regulatory approvals and commercialize the product.
