AFJ Conducts Peru Market Access Assessment

Jason Hafemeister presented a summary report on the AFJ Gap Analysis at a capacity building meeting organized by the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Trade Organization that focused on improving Peru’s trade performance.  The AFJ report identified technical assistance needs to address Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures impeding Peru’s exports.  The assessment highlighted export priorities for Peru in the Asia, United States, EU, and regional markets and drew from information generated by data analysis and interviews with government, private sector, and donor organizations.
